It was a celebration of artistic freedom, well attended by well loved souls. I was bursting in gratitude. Equity Committee of Faculty Union, TMU, the organisers were putting out a lot of fires before the event as so many forces were trying to shut it down. But it finally happened like a starry night with fireworks on top of it. So so humbled by the solidarity and ofcourse by the power of art. Every screening extends life for a filmmaker. This screening after a horrendous censorship of my film and life, is new warm blood pumped into my veins.
