Ravi Shanker N, Rupesh Chandran Niranjan TG Sudeesh Yezhuvath and all the Panchajanyam Filmsociety friends are my extended family.

What these comrades do pursuantly in the small village like Chitoor of Palakkad District is an inspiration to all the culture warriors. This annual passion fed international film festival keeps a strong discourse going on in politics, art and cinema- so fearlessly and infectiosuly. My love and respect for the committed work they do in the cultural space is what I humbly pay in retrospect.

One of the earlier editions screened Sengadal, The Dead Sea. Then I had an opportunity to inaugurate 2016 edition. This edition screened Is it too much to ask with all the complications in projections due to digital updation of iconic Chithranjali Theatre. I shared my views in the open forum on “Women’s Republic” with my fellow fierce feminist Aparna Sivakami and it resonated so well so that I could feel real sister power with all the fuming discussions followed post session.

I have a new film in hand and I am already planning to be there for next edition. Hail Cinema and all the love it brings to life.
